 An isolated Paradise, Haad Khuat (Khuad) is a picturesque lovely stretch of white sands located on the north coast of Koh Phangan and everyone knows it as 'Bottle' Beach. Why the Bottle ask you? Despite the name, the shape of Haad Khuat beach is not like a bottle, but the story goes that some travellers ventured off the beaten path and began trekking through the forest to find a beautiful deserted bounty. While hiking they mark the route by the bottles, hence the beach's name.
Located between Ao Chaloklum and Thong Nai Pan, Haad Khuat beach is recognised as one of the most beautiful beaches in Koh Phangan and can be easily accessed by boat. The unspoiled beach with a backdrop of green mountainous coves and hills surrounding this precious spot is home for local bars and restaurants and a few hotels, all with beachfront location including Haad Khuad Resort and the popular Bottle Beach 1,2 resorts. |

 Getting to Bottle Beach
|
 Haad Khuat is located on Koh Pangan's North coast. From Ao Chaloklum take a short longtail boat trip around the corner of the island to Bottle Beach. The trip price is 150 Bath/per one way.

Travel time is 20 min.
Also you can reach a popular Haad Khuat (Bottle beach in Thai) from Thong Nai Pan by car(4×4) or motorbike use a very rough road winds through the mountain jungle This way is recommended only for experienced drivers/riders.
There is a marked trek through the jungle about 2.5 km long from Haad Khom area to Bottle beach. A very tricky and hot route is not for starters of hiking. So boat trip is the best way to get Haad Khuat (Bottle) beach.

 Sun beds & chairs and hammocks for use by guests of Haad Khuat's resorts is dotted along the beach with breathtaking sea views. The beachfront restaurants and bars provide a wi-fi.

 If you love a tasty Thai food, Haad Khuat will not disappoint you. Each hotel in Bottle beach has own restaurant and a bar so you will choose from. For beach side eating Haad Khuad has a handful Thai restaurants and bars, each serving up freshly barbecued seafood, as well exquisite Thai food and Western favorites at reasonable prices. The restaurant at Bottle Beach Resort is a good pace to try something different or discover some local dishes you might never see on an other menus.
Close to the evening, bars remain open, and some offer a good selection of your favorite drinks right on the beach in a very laid back and friendly atmosphere with firework shows. |

 Thanks to the sea shelf you can swim safe all year round here despite tide seasons. The best place for swimming is a central part of the beach.
Besides a ride on the swings under the palm trees and burning your skin under the sun there is a much to do in Bottle beach.
There is a snorkeling in the eastern end of the bay. Masks and fins are for rent for those who wish to explore the coral reef. Hotels's friendly staff can also arrange diving for you.
You can try a boat tours around the island or to the neighbouring islands aswell as fishing trips. Kayaking is also great way to spent  a wonderful time. Kayaks can be rented on the beach.
Every day as the heat of the sun starts to subside, volleyball and football matches begin on the beach. It's a good way to meet new friends and and keep your body in shape during your holiday.
Located east of the Bottle beach, Khao Baan Fai Mai Viewpoint is the mountain peak on Haad Khuat area and offers the most spectacular view of the bay. There is a winding foot trail leading up to the scenic point from the beach of Haad Khuad. The trail can be steep in places so make sure to be cautious and wear good hiking shoes.
Traditional Thai Massage are available with well - trained masseuses - it is truly an ideal treatment to heal you from the everyday intense activity.The Massage area is  renowned for its relaxing and tranquil ambience that comes with the charm of traditional Thai hospitality. A Thai massage costs around 250-300 baht, other kinds of massage and reflexology are also available.
