 Haad Khom is located on the Northern coast of the island and is linked with Ao Chaloklum beach by a good concrete road. At the village the road starts near Chaloklum Supermarket. Some hotels in Haad Khom offer a free pick-up service from/to Thong Sala port. Otherwise taxi fare should be 250 baht/per one way. Also you can reach Haad Khom beach by renting longtal boat.
There is a trekking route between Haad Khom and Bottle beach passes through a mountain jungle. The hiking time is about 2 hours. |

Toilets can be found in beachfront restaurants and bars for a small fee. Face to the North, the beautiful beach is fringed by Casuarina and Coconut trees with lots of shady spots that are perfect for a mat or beach towel. |

Also worth a try Goong Gah Tiem (garlic shrimp), Pad Ga Pow (stir fried basil with meat) and Pineapple fried rice. The eatery and Coral Bar at Coaral Bay bungalows is a lovely dining place with a fare to choose from salads, soups, noodles, fish and of course seafood. This beachfront restaurant also has a bar
with a large selection of drinks, cocktails and fresh juices.

 Surrounded by crystal-clear azure waters filled with all sorts of underwater wonders, it comes as no surprise that the most popular recreational activities in Haad Khom beach are water-based, namely swimming and snorkeling. Haad Khom is home to an extensive coral reef that's protects the bay from the incoming seas, and for this reason swimming here is available only at high tide season time (November - March).
An other activities to be enjoyed whilst staying here include exploring rocky coves only accessible by kayak or longtail boat and scuba diving which can be arranged by the dive shop in Ao Chaloklum.
