 How to Get to Haad Yuan beach
|
 Most visitors usually choose the boat ride to reach Haad Yuan beach from Haad Rin Nok(FMP). Travel time is 10 min; The trip price - 200 Bath/per for one way. From Koh Samui is 20-minute speedboat ride. Other way is 4×4 pickup-taxi using the main dirt road from Baan Tai when the weather is dry, however check with locals beforehand. If you are very experienced rider rent a motorbike to get Haad Yuan beach.
For adventurous travellers there is also a hiking path from Haad Rin that starts near Laluna Bungalow. Be prepared for a difficult climb up the hill, down the path through the forest and then down the slope to Barcelona resort in Haad Yuan beach. At crosstrails notice the trees, they are marked with paint where to go. The whole journey takes about one and half hours.

There is not ATMs in Haad Yuan, so stock up in advance in cash. A handful of local minimarts in Haad Yuan sell some basic necessities. Dont't expect high speed wifi here. The mobile service is perfect (AIS is better). The only internet cafe in Haad Yuanbeach belongs to Big Blue resort (3 Bath/min). |

From the Palms Restaurant and Tropix Bar placed on beachside at Pariya Resort & Villas that serves Thai, seafood and International cuisine to some eateries and other places to eat in Haad Yuan, you will have to choose from and
never stay hungry.
Especially popular Barcelona Restaurant with friendly service and menu serving a wide range of Thai and European food at reasonable prices. The beachside dining venue is perfect place to enjoy English breakfast, sandwiches, salads, Thai soups and curries, BBQ seafood, pizzas, steaks, spaghetti, snacks, coffee, desserts and some drinks including cold beer, right on the beach under a big shady tree. Tom Yam soup, vegetables with shrimp
 and chicken cashews nuts, and Vegetable Pizza are high recommended.
If dining with fantastic seaviews is your thing, Ocean Rock restaurant fits the bill admirably. Located at the southern end of Haad Yuan Beach on a rocky (of course) promontory that houses Ocean Rock Resort, the bar and restaurant with laid back atmosphere, where serves thai and western food is reached through the wooden walkway.
Vegetarians and Vegans will be happy with the Bamboo restaurant is at north-east end of the beach at Bamboo Hut. A cozy restaurant has the vegetarian-friendly menu. Big Blue is Thai restaurant with a prime beach location also а good choise for breakfasts, lunches and diners.
 The beach is famous also for the weekly hight party. The Eden Garden, located on the rocks behind Bamboo Hut is the great place to nightlife with rare music party. There are few reggae bars and other chilled-out watering holes in Haad Yuan area, to find new friends. Guys bar in Haad Yuan plays funky and minimal house hosted by resident DJ. |

Haad Yuan Beach Activities |
 This 150-metre long beach enjoys regular return visitors in high season and covered by coarse-grained golden sand. The deep emerald waters off Haad Yuan Beach are perfect for swimming at any time of the day. The best place to swim is the center of the beach closest to Pariya Resort. Haad Yuan Beach is more of a quiet destination - especially when compared with busy Haad Rin Nok (Sunrise), in short boat ride away.
There are not snorkeling and diving sites in Haad Yuan area, but if your have own mask and fins, try happiness around of rocky northern end of the bay what to see some tropical fishes. A beautiful sala with the prime beach location in front of
Barcelona Resort is the main place for yoga, meditation, and Thai massage classes or workshops.
 Other things to do in Haad Yuan are kayaking, soaking the sun, reading the book, hiking to see the nearest beaches including Haad Thian (15min walk) and Haad Wai Nam beach (25min), Thai massage (from 300 Bath/hour) or enjoying spa treatments in
Pariya Spa. The restaurant in Big Blue resort with a reclining area on Thai cushions (Mon) host two movies each evening.
