 Tiny and isolated, with the only hotel under the name Haad Thian Bungalows, the beach is located
on Koh Phangan west coast in between Haad Gruad and Haad Yao beaches.
A rough sand has mixed with died coral due to close to a reef, thus the best time for swimming comes when high tide. Haad Thian also features a sunset-lovers' beach. |

 How to Get to Haad Thian (West) beach
|
Haad Thian (West) is to the North of Haad Yao beach and has very step driving way starts from the main road (be careful when ride a motorbike).
From Thogsala port a taxi fare should be 200 baht/per one way. Around the beach area you also can rent a motorbike or car.
There are two ways to ride Haad Thian (West):
- from Thonsala port along Koh Phangan west coast. This way is more tiresome;
- the road starts from Thong Sala's Tesco Lotus. Follow the road and turn left at T-intersection to Sri Thanu village. Next T-junction (with fresh fruit market and 7-eleven on it) turn right. Continue straight till signs 'Cookies Salad Resort and Lucky Resort' from your left side. This easy way is the more free traffic and the most short. |

Haad Thian (West) beach Facilities |
| There is a few sunbeds on the beach for sun tun lovers and a lots of greenery with tweeting tropical birds. So grasp with a towel, a sun-protection lotion if you have, of course, the nearest shop is on Haad Yao beach. |

Haad Thian (West) Beach Restaurants & Food |
The only restaurant you can find at Haad Thian Bungalows. The beachfront eatery with sea view serves traditional Thai and Western favorites, including breakfast and BBQ seafood as well as drinks, coffee adn local beer.
The restaurant has a seating area as well as a reclining area on cushions with low coffee tables. They host two movies each evening and the staff are sweet and friendly.
Other dining options are in Haad Salad and Haad Yao beach. |

 This 50-metre sheltered beach has large granite rocks at both ends and a coral reef about 70 metres out which should only be accessed by strong swimmers. Good and safe snorkelling here. Try kayakin for explore the adjoining beaches
