 For the avid party-goers, Haad Rin beach is one of the most beautiful and most popular beaches in Koh Phangan largely due to the hot nightlife scene and FMP, known throughout the world. A wide strip of golden sand lined by hotels, restaurants, bars and dance clubs gently bends forming the bay perfect form located on the eastern side of the peninsula, in the middle of which rises from the sea the sun disc.
Haad Rin consists of two beaches: Haad Rin Nai (Sunset) beach and Haad Rin Nok (Sunrise) beach, where the latter is the sandy avenue for the famous Full Moon Party Koh Phangan draws to an island thousands of young fans of fun and dance music. Between the beaches among of a complicated labyrinth of alleys is Haad Rin town, most developed place on the island where you will find the largest concentration of hotels, resorts, restaurants, bars and shops. Haad Rin belongs to the breed of the cities that you like and love and hate and at daily high temperatures, the town can seem a bit claustrophobic, but at night this place really sparks, opening doors of bars, pubs and clubs, poured in the ears of passers-by music of various styles and trends. For dedicated partygoers it's probably the best destination, but for those who prefer a 'real' Thailand is the place can cause a small shock. |

 During the day time Haad Rin beach is full of suntan and water-sports fans, absorbing the sun's rays and preparing for a night of fun. Sunrice beach is truly awake all night and has the biggest concentration of clubs on the island, with a wide range of music of different styles and dance spots. And if You've never seen "The Beach" movie, just go, have dinner every night at any restaurant of Haad Rin, drink beer, cocktails and have fun during the week, your memory will be written the original of this movie. With regard to coastal waters, the continental shelf seabed decreases quite deeply and it is comfortable to swim in any season, although there is one drawback - watch under water nothing, coral reef here, the closest is located near the tiny Haad Kontee beach, located to the north from Haad Rin Nok and accessible only on a mountain path or by boat.
Don't expect to see here is authentic Thai beach, most likely you will see hordes of young Western tourists, a day overflowing the streets and restaurants, watching movies in bars and waiting for nightfall, when it would again enjoy a fun beach party.

 In finding for tranquillity in Haad Rin beach is better to stay in town or on less cute Haad Rin Nai (sunset) beach, where the cost of accomodation is much lower, or preferably in Haad Seekantang beach hotels or even on other Koh Phangan beaches.
