Stretching southwards from a rocky headland, Haad Yao East is a scenic secluded bay also known as Paradise beach on the east coast of Koh Phangan. A clever nature has formed in this part of the island a delightful cove with pure white sand and clear blue waters which gives a real feeling of uninhabited Island.
A unique investment spot on Koh Phangan’s east cost, Haad Yao East is one of the most undeveloped and beautiful beaches of Koh Phangan - expect to see just a few locals on the stunning sandy shore. There are only two resorts here, includindg Lost Paradise with a few bungalows and a small Thai restaurant.
Getting to Haad Yao East is better by boat from FMP beach, but now the beach have a unpaved road and more or less suitable only with 4 WD and with experienced drivers/riders. Although if you are a lover of hiking, there is mountain trail from Haad Rin is 8 km long and passes through tropical mountain jungle, you should completely satisfy your passion.
Swimming is available all year round as the water here is deeper and there are no sand banks close to the beach. There’s a nice snorkeling site at the northern end of the bay, with beautiful tropical fish and corals can be discovered. |
