 Haad Rin Nok (Sunrise) beach is one of the most beautiful and popular beaches in Koh Phangan and the scene for worldwide famous Full Moon Party Koh Phangan. Haad Rin's one-kilometre strip of golden sand has won popularity thanking thriving hot nightlife with a long line of clubs, bars and restaurants run daily techno and trance to happy tourists dancing on the sand till dawn every night.
It's a place to watch the world go by and a hive of activity, with beach volleyball, jet-ski operators, boat drivers, beach vendors and masseuses all vying for the attention of the many visitors relaxing on the beach. The best time to come to Haad Rin Nok beach is from november to april (during the northeast monsoon) as the water is very flat and calm. |

 Haad Rin Nok beach Facilities

 Sunbeds are available at the beachfront hotels who have them for use by their guests. In the far south part of the beach there's a small The Beach bar that has some sunbeds, and sells snacks and drinks.
The rest of Haad Rin Nok beach is mostly devoid of sunbeds. However, almost everything you could possible need is still available, except for someone to rub sun cream on your back. Toilets can be found in the beach bars and restaurants, there is a charge which is usually 10 baht. |

 The main source of lunch is the
many charming beachfront restaurants serve Thai food, seafood and Western favourites at reasonable prices. Many have a good selection of dishes and offer the rare pleasure of eating, while a cool breeze keeps temperatures down for a perfect lazy afternoon. There are also a lot of restaurants a short walk away from the beach in Haad Rin town.
Later in the evening, bars remain open, and some offer a good selection of drinks right on the beach in a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

 Haad Rin Nok (sunrise) beach is jet-ski heaven, operators can be found right on the beach in front of Cactus bar. Jetskiing is available in high season and often in low season. |

Haad Rin Nok beach Activities |
 Rather good snorkeling can be found by the rocks at the south end of the beach, equipment can be rented on the beach. Some diving schools are available in Haad Rin beach: Sail Rock diver and Lotus & Cristal dive.
There is a volleyball net for those who enjoy beach volleyball, everyone's welcome to play - it's a great way to meet people. The net set near Tommy resort. Games usually start around 16:30 as it starts to get cooler.
Sunbathing and people watching are the most popular activities here. Renting a taxi boat to explore the neighbouring beaches of Haad Khontee, Haad Yuan or Thong Nai Pan Beach is a very nice way to spend the afternoon.
If you are full powers for adventures head to north end of the beach where beside Laluna Bungalows you'll find steply path on the hillside leading to viewpoint. Having reached top you will be awarded

 In finding for tranquillity in Haad Rin beach is advisable to stay in town or on less cute Haad Rin Nai (sunset) beach, where the cost of accomodation is much lower, or preferably in Haad Seekantang (Leela) beach hotels or even on other Koh Phangan beaches.
