Private and used by Bangkok Airways, airport Expenditures, which is the youngest of a series of airports that the airline serves daily domestic and international flights from/to Trat and is the closest airport to Koh Chang. Trat airport has a simple layout, including cluster located in the open air structures - for departing and arriving passengers, offices, cafes, runway and other facilities of the airport.
Every flight from Bangkok takes approximately 45 minutes, compared to 4-5 hours journey by bus or car. Although the Tickets are not cheap as Bangkok Airways is not a budget airline, the full experience very pleasant. International IATA code - TDX. |

Ferries to Koh Chang depart from Ao Thammachat pier located 18 km from the airport. To get to Koh Chang from Trat airport take Airport Shuttle Service that takes you to the pier and then to the island, to your hotel. The price for the transfer also included the ferry. |
