Islands Nearby Koh Chang: Koh Kood, Koh Mak , Koh Way In addition to Koh Chang as main stars of Trad archipelago there are some smaller Islands surrounding the "Elephant" which is also worth a visit. It is not hard to access and explore pristine beaches of the quiet islands: Koh Mak, Koh Kood and Koh Wai. These particles archipelago can boast of shallow coral reefs world-class is considered to be one of the most preserved and beautiful in the world. Enjoy a wide variety of water activities like diving, snorkeling, kayaking, football, volleyball, walks, bikes and even singing karaoke! (available in some hotels). As most of these islands is private, please note that you need to pay a small fee to set foot on a shore.

In Koh Chang many tour operators offer interesting tours, designed for one or two nights stay at another islands hotels:
- Away Resort, Captain Hook, Cham's House Resort (Koh Kood island);
- Baan Koh Mak, Koh Mak Resort, Makathanee Resort (Koh Mak island) and in Laoya Resort on Koh Laoya.
These tours are not so cheap, how much more convenient because everything is included and paid as transfers to food. Alternatively, you can visit the islands themselves.

Soneva Khiri Koh Kood island Koh Kood (Ko Kut) island is the southern part of Trat province. Located closest to the Cambodian border, Koh Kood is 80 kilometres from Laem Sok pier (the mainland). 330 kilometres to southeast from Bangkok, Koh Kood Map covers over the total area of 105 square kilometres, making it the fourth largest island of Thailand and the second largest island of Trat province after Koh Chang.

Koh Rayang Noi

Koh Rayang Noi Islands: Koh Rayang Nai and Koh Rayang Nok is located south-west of Koh Mak island, just opposite Makathanee Resort pier. Koh Kradat Island

Koh Kradat Island Flat Koh Kradat island is located near Koh Mak north-east coast, opposite the Laem Son cape. It is very different from the other islands of the archipelago, because the terrain it is flat. Its name was given to the island for the type Kradad tree, from wood which code did most of the papyrus. The beach here is very long and powdery sand and coral reef cover around the whole island.

Koh Kradat was the first island received the document of land ownership since the reign of King Rama V. It takes about 2-3 hours by big boat from Laem Ngob pier (Trat) to get here. Koh Rung

Koh Rung islands A group of 12 islands known as Mu Koh Rung lies to the south of Koh Chang. Other islands of Koh Rung archipelago: Koh Song Pe Nong, Koh Khang and Koh Thian located north east of Koh Rang is a great place for diving and snorkeling. The sea around the islands is a world of corals and diverse marine life. Of all the islands, Koh Kra has the longest beach is just 20m long. Walking along the beach here is not recommended, because the seabed is covered with a carpet of corals. All 3 Islands lie close to each other and at low tide to get so small that you can reach by foot.
The last coral island with no beaches and covered with stones called Koh Yak where you can snorkeling surrounded by hundreds of small fish. The island does not have enough space, suitable for resort or bungalow, so you should go there for a day or to live in tents near the Park office. Usually travelers visit the island for snorkeling.
 

Koh Lao Ya islands

Koh Lao Ya islands Koh Lao Ya lying 3 km to the west of Long beach, the journey by boat from Laem Ngob pier 2 hours. The tropical paradise is composed of 3 small islands - Koh Lao Ya Nai, Koh Lao Ya, Koh Lao Ya Nok.

The latter is connected with the previous two wooden footbridges.
The island has beautiful beaches, crystal clear waters with beautiful coral reefs, and it is the only Lao Yo Resort .

Koh Khlum

Koh Khlum Koh Khlum island has historical significance because this place was a battlefield of Thai and French Navy, during the French colonization of Indochina.

The island itself is quite good, there are excellent dive sites and coral reefs are located at a depth of 10 - 20 meters. Besides diving, the place also boasts excellent fishing.

Koh Kra island

Koh Kra island Koh Kra is a small rocky island with a shallow reef, teeming with small fish.

An ideal place for snorkeling and free-diving, since the depth here not exceed 10 meters. Shallow coral gardens gently slope down to a sandy bottom, which is home to sea urchins. The island is Koh Rang islands group.
