Due to its geographical location the weather in Koh Chang is highly variable. Island unlike the rest of Thailand has 2 seasons. The rainy season here lasts from june to october and dry from november to may. Most visitors travel to Koh Chang between november and april, it is also the best time to visit, as temperatures rarely exceed more than 30 °. In october and december at the evening and night time the sea breezes can be very cool. Sometimes, as elsewhere are tropical downpours. The wettest month is august with an average rainfall of 700mm.
