Koh Kham island is located North of Koh Mak, directly opposite Suan Yai beach one kilometre from the shore. Usually the "Island Hopper" next boat from Koh Chang comes on the way to this small island, which would be planted newly arrived travelers.
The landing is made according to the following scheme: big-boat stops at a few hundred meters from Koh Kham, and from the islet towards arrives boat for passengers.
The island was formed according to local sources, due to the volcanic eruption. A small tropical Paradise with crystal clear water, coral reefs and short white sandy beaches, waters in which to swim, diving and snorkeling, to catch fish and squid. During strong sea tides you can walk along the sandy shallows to Koh Mak. The island has only one hotel - Koh Kham Resort that can cater for up to 60 guests.
The main attractions of the island is a group of black volcanic boulders, considered one of the great natural wonders of east coast. Koh Kham island as an ideal location surrounded by coral reef perfect for snorkeling.
