Unlike Haad Rin, Thong Sala not attracts crowds of Full Moon Party fans, but if you stayed there you will always have a chance to spend with friends a good evening. Having a few British pubs with sport TV and pool tables, a handful of Central city bars and even amusing strip of beer bars with girls, this area of the island is enough to make hard work your imagination, and becomes quite active as soon as the sun starts to sink in western part of the Gulf of Thailand.
Without a doubt, the epicenter of the nightlife of the island, Haad Rin beach, and Thong Sala in no way be compared to a maze of back alleys and streets full of bars and clubs, but his own, a quiet enclave of night life in some degree has its charm. |

If follow along the main road from Thonsala to Haad Rin beach you should see an enclave of 10 red-lit bars, adjacent to each other and filled sexy dressed girls, beckoning passers-by. In Koh Phangan is a modest equivalent of Patong or Patpong. Almost all the bars do not coordinate with each other in the choice of music, so passing by, You'll hear everything from rock to pop music. Very friendly girls, and the area is full with a special atmosphere that You've to be felt in Bangkok or Phuket. A word of caution: always pay individually for each drink, the bartender in these night spots can be 'shaped'.
