 Koh Phangan Crocodile & Snake Show Highlights

 Really exciting show duration is 30 minutes and an hour are held several times a day as you fill the audience. Visitors are invited to take their place in a auditorium with a small poll and arena in the center where a Thai 'trainer' plays with a few lazy crocodiles that more dream of basking on the beach than entertain the audience. During the show, "Handler" drags crocodile by the tail, picking them up and putting my hands and head in their open toothy jaw.
If we consider the crocodile show, as part of Asian exoticism it's about the same as Bullfighting in Spain. Refers to this in different ways, but in any case it is a part of Thai culture. And this show is part of this culture, why not put aside all the prejudices of the person sorry for the animals. It's a pretty exciting show. |

 If you think that crocodiles are trained it's not true. The crocodile is a wild animal and he is not amenable to training. It's just natural instincts, when crocodile is hot he opened his mouth to cool the body. Knowledge of these reflexes and have a local "animal trainers".
Of course the Crocodile show deserves the respect and courage of these young people, as not all of us dare to be photographed with a live alligator without saying the same about to shove head in his opened jaw. |
