Where to Go at Night in Ban Saladan
|
Starting from 19:00 onwards when the heat subsides Ban Saladan is becoming crowded, filled by tourists flowing to the shops, restaurants and bars. Surprisingly however that the nightlife of the pier where it grew up with tourism, as most visitors prefer to go to the beach or in the hotel to finish your evening.
So, the real bars in Ko Lanta's capital is restricted to a small selection. The good news is that these bars have a sensible owners who know how to entertain the customers and more importantly, instead of one cocktail give two! |

Mary Ann's bar |
Small but friendly bar, definitely for lovers of wine than beer. Expect a good talks with a local western residents, who settled at Ko Lanta and also good tapas!
Opening hours: Daily from 13:00 to 23:00
Location: first turn after Lanta Mart (across from 7/11), further to the right |
|
Racuda bar |
Former diver's den in recent years, Racuda became known among tourists as the perfect cocktail bar. Located above the dive centre the entrance is hidden in the side, but I recommend to enter the stairs and cool your head in the fresh sea breeze before taking a dip in a relatively warm welcome, cold beer and live music.
Opening hours: Daily 17:00 - till the last customer!
Location: just above Lanta Scuba dive centre
