Where to Eat in Klong Prao |
Many dining options in Klong Prao you can find both on the beach and along the main road. Convenient choices of restaurants and cafes in hotels and resorts. Extensive menu and delicious food is offered along roads, in shopping centres and especially in the area around Klong Plu waterfall, and in the front you can find a restaurant which serves excellent grilled chicken and papaya salad.
But back to the beach...just South of the turning to the waterfall is a beautiful Jae Eiw Seafood restaurant serving fresh seafood. In the evenings he usually filled with Thais at 95%. If you want good food head to Kati Culinary and Yummy Hut both are located near the road, next to the elephant camp. In Kati offer excellent Thai food, one of the best on Koh Chang. Try it and if you don't like - you're not a connoisseur of Thai food. But don't expect fast service, all prepared from scratch and requires time, until the meal gets to your table.
Further south, past the elephant camp is pleasantly decorated Pumpkin restaurant with quality food above average. Also in this area there are some cheap cafes, where the price per dish about 50 Bath and main visitors local people. So if you stay close, in a tight budget or are accustomed to street food go here.
