Where to Shop and What to Buy in White Sand Beach

 White Sand beach has has a dense concentration of small shops selling cheap beach clothing, flip-flops, sunglasses, T-shirts, CD and DVD, paintings and souvenirs with symbols of Koh Chang island. In addition, along the main street of the beach you will find some 7/11 minimarts and Tesco Lotus express.
Almost every hotel or resort in White Sand beach have their own restaurant and bar on the beach and this means that in the evening, the main street looks pretty empty until holidaymakers fill their stomachs. After dinner you can walk to numerous shops, pretending to be subtle taste but there are not very many. Here are a few places that are worth visiting. |

 Need an extra pair of shorts or sunglasses? Forget the cream for sun protection? You should not worry about all this if you are staying at White Sand beach. Most of the shops sells a wide selection of goods beach themes: bikini, shorts, hats, sunglasses, all for snorkeling, flip-flops and sarongs, to mention only a few.
Great selection of gifts, souvenirs and trifles, paintings depicting the Buddha in a variety of poses, woodcarving, spa cosmetics and even carpets and rugs - everything is on sale. |

Where to Shop in White Sand beach |
 Here are a few places which are worth your visit - Portobello and Klin Mali. Portobello has two shops, one located right next to Koh Chang Kacha Resort & Spa is another branch in front of the same hotel. These chic little boutiques stand out from the other outlets blazing in the darkness of the huge neon billboards.
Portobello is a family run business, managed more than four years, which offers a carefully selected range of handicraft products. Feature stores a unique collection of lamps, a wide selection of beautiful paper lamps, handmade and gorgeous jewelry made from silver, precious and semi-precious stones. This store is definitely worth a visit. The main items for sale are lamps which produce only on Koh Chang. These lamps are made of a sturdy steel base, round paper shade created from natural materials. The lamps are produced in a huge variety of shapes, colors and structures. In addition, here you can buy items from genuine Thai silk.
Klin Mali near Ban Phu Resort has a small, but unique collection of silver rings, handmade bracelets and necklaces. The items that you will not see in other places of the island are made by professional designers, who if necessary will create products for personal design. |

Findig |
 Findig is focused mainly on shoes, luggage, traveling bags, handbags and trolley cases. From the outside the shop doesn't look that big but once you step in, you will find that it's actually split into two different levels. Their basement floor is a smart answer to the shortage of commercial space in this prime neighborhood. Findig also stocks Thai handicrafts and souvenirs.

AP Shopping Center |
 Two-storey AP Shopping Center is located on the main street of White Sand beach infront Lagoon Resort. The first floor will welcome you to a small cafe selling a range of pastries, ice cream, coffee and sweets. The shelves on the first floor is filled with souvenirs, accessories, food and drinks, including alcohol. Special attention should be paid to the large collection of wooden lamps and clocks in the design which used the symbol of Koh Chang - The Elephant. There is also a pharmacy where you will help to find the right medication.
On the second floor expect to see clothes, products OTOR, goods made from silk, shoes, toys, paintings, textiles, wall decoration, home design objects, tableware, bags & backpacks, electronics, and much more. In this shopping centre has a large range of souvenirs and various trifles with symbols of Thailand and if you find something right next to the street - look at the AP Shopping - there you will buy the same thing only cheaper by 20-30%.

 Gift Supermarket appeared on Koh Chang a few years ago. Located to the left of Chang Buri Resort and Spa is a small shopping complex consisting of three stores easily recognized by the red signs lined up in one line. On the left is the Fashion Bag World filled with elegant ladies bags, handbags, traveling bags, leather trunks, rucksacks, and other shoulder accessories in all colors, shapes and sizes.
In the middle is sitting comfortably Crystal Space jewelry boutique on display which you can find jewelry with precious and semi-precious stones as well as a large selection of jewelry using crystals.
Crowned with this collection Gift Supermarket the size of which does not comply with the status. A small room filled with a variety of souvenirs, handicrafts and fine trinkets.

 A small shop next to Supermarket Gift offers for sale Spa cosmetics. Lotions, creams, aromatherapy oils and candles, soaps and shampoos, balsams and other medical cosmetics based on natural ingredients. If you are interested in coconut oil, keep in mind that the sale it is of three kinds: for cooking, for skin and for hair.
