Where to Eat in Kai Bae beach |
 Since the road in this area of the island is quite narrow, all dining places are pressed to each other is pretty close making it easier to find for visitors. Take a walk along main road where you will find a large choice of local restaurants offering everything from regular Thai food to Western favourites.
The roadside is full of the usual set of heterogeneous restaurants, beer bars, food stalls and temporary braziers filled with seafood, chicken and chunks of bacon. Also in this area is Kai Bae Wine Gallery where you can stock up on good imported wine and beer.
Design of a long-established French Fredo resort + restaurant and few small cafes, including Rock Sugar serves Thai and Western food along with live music. Live performance musicians can be enjoyed on the opposite side of the road in Garden Resort, hidden behind 7\11 and offering magnificent bungalows, swimming pool and restaurant. And if you were on south side of the beach near Kai Bae Marina is not a yacht club but they make great pizza and delicious European food, plus a small home theater with a wide movie selection. The next door will lead you to a small roadside shopping plaza called Moccachino - here high speed Internet and great coffee, and generally a good place for morning conversations.
For lovers of cheap food, 40 Bath for the meal in Kai Bae has three seats. 'Pak Pao Noodles' is in a separate building south LaLuna guesthouse opposite boutique 4 stars Gajapuri Resort. The owner speaks excellent English and fluent in French offering to try his brand recipe spa noodles imported from Northern Thailand. (On weekends, the place is filled with Thais). Moving further south, turn in Kai Bae Hut Resort and 20 meters down the road, you will find the restaurant on the left side. It is also great noodles and everything else Thai menu.
Another place for budget diners - from Lek Diner go south past the O2 about 50 meters... near the entrance to the restaurant is set for the phone and hangs the sign "Thai food"...part of the restaurant, where the owners, brother and sister now opened a Print Studio. There is always great food, menu, about 100 different dishes + Western food...and there is a menu in English. |

 This is perhaps the most famous and popular place in Kai Bae, for fans of fresh seafood. Food is prepared for his signature style, putting on show boat, with all sorts of dishes and placed in ice seafood.
Especially popular seafood BBQ. Be sure to try the giant tiger shrimp and lobster (250 Bath), red snapper (fish called tab-tim) and squid in sweet and sour sauce, with garlic and lemongrass. This eatery is on the external side of the road, opposite Cliff Beach Resort. Elongated, with bamboo furniture, the restaurant offers a menu of Thai, international and some dishes from Mexico.
Starting from 08:00 a.m. here can be a good idea to have Breakfast, to eat Mexican pizza, giant burgers, spaghetti. From 18:00 to 22:00 and serves BBQ.
In the evenings the restaurant is lit by colorful lights, loud sounds nice music, there is a pool table and chill out zone. The prices are inexpensive.

 Cozy cafe, located just behind the Wine Gallery offers a menu of pizzas, burgers, falafel, great selection of sandwiches and homemade ice cream. If you believe the Billboard at the entrance of the café here is "all very tasty and cheap, and not to believe it not, the more the text is printed in English.
