What to Do at Night in Ao Sri Thanu Beach

 The most of Ao Sri Thanu nightlife is clustered along the main road running parallel to the beach. There, you’ll find noisy and friendly reggae bars with live music, and restaurants are perfect for evening BBQ seafood and some drinks.
For the real party scene, head to neighbouring Haad Chao Phao with its Moon Set Party Pirates Bar or Thongsala, just a 15-minute drive south. |

 With the fantastic beachside location, Happy Beach is superb restaurant at Phanghan Cove Beach Resort. A huge menu features all kinds of great quality Western and Thai сuisine by reasonable prices. The restaurant offers two area of enjoyment, with a relaxing traditional Thai seating at open-air terrace with a low tables and mats, and a some comfortable bamboo tables and chairs right on the beach with sea views.
Happy Beach is famous for its breakfast, soups, BBQ fish, phad thai, spring rolls, beef scallops and pizzas. Drinks menu has excellent selection of shakes and cocktails. Face to west, the restaurant is a perfect place for romantic dinner.

 If you stay in Haad Chao Phao beach on Koh Phangan west coast for hot night fun head to Moon Set Party Pirates Bar is located in a small cove with a good music and spreading the moonlight. The Moon Set Party at the Pirate Bar hold usually 3 days before and after FMP in amazing setting with a backdrop of shear rock clifts. The most of being in Pirates Bar is absolutely fabulous! The beach party with international DJs set in the rocks and plays barely exclusively Techno Trance & House music and outdoor dancing arenas, as one drink 20 cups of non-alcoholic alternatives such as Singha Beer Chang Archa or how the bright full moon.

 The Monkey is reggae beach bar at the south end of Sri Thanu Beach, and has a great view along the strand and out to sea. Here, expect lots of reggae, dreadlocks, Bob Marley look-alikes and a friendly atmosphere. With chill out vibe, where cool jams can occur around campfire right on the beach and exotic fire show is a whole lot of fun it’s got all the basics for beach-party lovers.

 A titbit of Latin America in Ao Sri Thanu, Jomin is a bar and Tex-Mex restaurant located slightly off the main road. Serving Mexican cuisine's most famous tacos, tostadas, burritos, tamales, enchiladas, quesadillas and nachos, Jomin is a fun diner with live music and friendly atmosphere. Many Vegan and Vegetarian options and also Thai Food are available too. The Jomin has a happy hours from 5p.m, when all shooters at 60 Bath and open for lunch and dinner.

Belgium Beer Bar |
 Belgium Beer Bar (BBB) could be described as a large bar with a good restaurant is located in Haad Chao Phao beach near Blue Ocean Garden Resort. Serving Belgian dishes and with a beer selection that would be the envy of most Brussels-based bars, things most certainly are not done by halves here.
Spacious and clean dining room of Belgium Beer Bar with four tables and comfortable chairs is cooled by ceiling fans and air conditioning is an ideal refuge from the heat of the day. Belgium Beer's menu features great selection of Belgian beers. Amongst the many bottled treats on offer are Rochefort, Trappist, Chimay, Westmalle, Orval, Duval, La Chouffe, Sweet and Cider Beer, and Pauwel Kwak. As for draught beer, Stella Artois and both light and dark Hoegaarden are served on tap. To complement these delicious beers try the famous mussels with garlic cream or Thai style abbey cheese croquets served with Belgian fries. With a plate of steamed mussels in front of you and a glass of Duval to hand you'll experience the real Belgium in the heart of Koh Phangan.

La Dolce Vita Ristorante & Lounge Beach Bar |
 La Dolce Vita translates into English as ‘sweet life' but in reality, this Italian ristorante & lounge beach Bar in Haad Chao Phao is a much bigger affair than that. La Dolce Vita with a prime beachside location is the signature restaurant of Blue Ocean Garden Resort. The dining venue catering authentic Italian and Traditional Thai dishes, fresh fish and seafood, appetizers, salads and desserts wtih a great wine list.
Mixed Vegetables Tempura, bruschetta or Tuna Salad are a good start. For the main meal order spaghetti Carbonara or homemade ravioli with spinach & ricotta. La Dolce Vita's menu consists of 20 types of pizza and six kinds of pasta. Wash down the meal can with Italian homemade winewhite, rosé or red wine serves by glass, carafe (50cl) and bottles. For dessert, highly recommended Tiramisu with real mascarpone cheese or
Panna Cotta served with homemade strawberry jam or chocolate syrup.

Fellini Italian Restaurant |
 The Fellini in Ao Sri Thanu is an fine Italian diner with relaxing ambient music - that features no beach view or white sand, as it is indeed in the center of the village. The ristorante and pizzeria opened in January 2008 is clean and efficient, dishing up great Italian favourites as well as popular Thai dishes, steak, seafood specials and pizzas, plus selection of wines and cocktails, all made with quality ingredients through its fully air-conditioned setting and outdoor terrace overlooking the village main road.
In July 2010, the restaurant has opened its branch in Haad Rin without ceasing to amaze with their culinary delights fans of pizzas, organic salads, ravioli and gnocchi, homemade Pesto and a big selections of imported Italian cheeses.
