Tonsai East can be considered as area of the beach starts just after superbly named Phi Phi Don Chukit Resort along the way to Long Beach. This area is not as busy as Tonsai village but here you can do shopping and there are some great eateries, turning in the evening into nightly hot spots.
One great advantage of this beach is an array of wonderful views over Tonsai bay and Phi Phi Leh island. If you feel that a 15-minute stroll to the village you can not afford, you can easily catch a boat-taxi to the pier. |
