 Tonsai West beach in contrast to the eastern beach and the village, more peaceful and quiet. If You leave the pier and go further past Phi Phi hospital to the hills you will feel that all things in this part of the island is much more
tranquil
and
serene.
Main resorts are located on both sides of the road offering daytime cocktails, some travel agencies are selling day tours, which for the most part begin late in the morning, but you will not find here a lot of restaurants - only a few vendors sandwiches and peddlers with snacks, offering fruit and pancakes.
However, you can rent a boat and explore the sensational western tip of the island as well as to enjoy a few intrepid travelers trying to reach Phi Phi Leh by kayak! Tonsai West a great place for snorkeling and less busy than the Loh Dalum beach.
As for nightlife, Tonsai West does not unless you count sitting in a small beach bar counting the stars and listening to the distant bassy sounds music boom coming into the bay from Tonsai east.
About shopping, midway road after the hospital there is a shop with a fairly high prices. |

This Deaf Gecko bar created a cheerful Irishman and this place is definitely worthwhile for a bottle of beer ...or ten. Around the bar can fit a few drinkers, so the whole scene is automatically intimate.
The main business of Deaf Gecko is rock climbing, so expect a lot of talk about the ropes and fasteners.

 A big Thai restaurant furnished with plastic furniture and cooled by the sea breezes, watching the facade of the sea at the beginning Tonsay west beach.
