Where to Go at Night on Koh Lanta's Southwest Beaches

 With a higher proportion of Muslims living in this part of the island, bars tend to be more quiet, but in general a higher standard. Don't expect to find nightclubs here and that is oriented to chill out and drink.
Areas such as Kan Tiang beach and Klong Nin beach have some wonderful bars, but the prices are a little higher than in the north of Ko Lanta. |

 Blue Moon bar
|
 It's a pretty nice beach bar, built of wood and managed by a frenchman in most nights offers fire shows, dancing on the sand and good live music. Great atmosphere in the fashionable western style, and if You want to relax with a beer, Blue Moon is the place where you should go at Klong Nin beach.
In the bar you can also enjoy Thai and Western food.

On the Rocks bar |
 Probably one of the busiest bars in the south of Ko Lanta, On the Rocks has a wonderful and large round bar which is the best place in Ko Lanta's southern beaches area where over a beer, you can watch the latest sport events football or formula 1, as well as chat with local divers going here at the end of the day.
Built amidst a lush garden with beach views and protected from the elements, this bar has a wide range of bottled beers, and spirits and cocktails.

Aqua bar |
 Set on stilts above the beach is a small bar that has a great personality! Offering a fantastic views overlooking Kan Tiang bay, Aqua is the perfect place to watch the sun sink slowly into the sea, and parties often continue late into the night.

 Cocktail bar nestled on the top of the cliff, overlooking Kantiang bay, comes to life just before sunset. This is the place where they like to meet local divers chat over a bottle of beer or to celebrate someone's completion of the PADI.
