Where to Shop on Koh Lanta's Northwest Beaches

 As I have said before, Koh Lanta is not a paradise for shoppers, but the island has few small shops that are really selling unique souvenirs and gifts most of which were created by local artisans.
If you want to find on Ko Lanta something exceptional, be prepared to travel around the island, as there are no shopping centres and these little gems are scattered around the island.
As for 7/11 minimart they are in every village of the island, including Ban Saladan and are located along the main road of Koh Lanta. In 7/11 you will find a familiar western people everyday goods and ATMs. |

 Lanta Paddlesports
|
 The new store on the island, aimed at surfers and offering professional equipment for surfing, as in rent and for sale. Classes and tours are also available.

Fix the Girl |
Selling a range of goods, handbags, clothes for ladies and cosmetics.
Cosmetics and beauty Salon also has a beauty shop, and the shop is ideally located behind the Cheeky Monkey Bar where you can leave your man to drink beer until you put things beauty!

7/11 minimarts |
 It is nice to know that 7/11 remains open 24 hours a day and prices to stay (plus or minus) at the same level regardless of whether a shop in a tourist place or not.
And please do not forget that under Thai law to sell alcohol (incl. beer is permitted only between 11:00 - 14:00 and 17:00 to 24:00. 7/11 strictly adheres to this law, so that if you want to buy booze - first take a look at the clock. Here you can find ATMs.

Irie shop |
 Doubling as a bar this shop sells a large assortment of handmade items (local artisans) including belts, jewelry, paintings and clothing. They are more famous due to the large leather belt with small pockets, are very popular among women.

Mountain Sea Silver and Stone |
 The appearance of the shop resembles a large shed built from different pieces of wood, but inside you'll find one of the best 'jewelers' on the island. Most of the elements created on the basis of polished stones or sea shells, and the master will always be able to make a necklace, bracelet or earrings for your design.

The fishing shop in Klong Dao |
Shop 'all for fishing' can be found in the southern part of Baan Saladan near Lanta Residence hotel. A large store that sells hooks, rods, spinning, reels, fishing lines, spinners and other lures as well as many other things related to marine and freshwater fishing. Experienced anglers should find for themselves all necessary. The hosts can also offer popular places for fishing around Koh Lanta.
Opening hours: every day except Friday 09:00 - 18:00
Location: southern part of Saladan beginning west of the road to Koh Kwang beach, after turning from the main road on the left side
