Where to Go at Night on Koh Lanta's Northwest Beaches
|
 North-west beaches have the highest concentration of bars, whether you prefer the beach, traditional Thai, Western, sports or even a karaoke bar, they can all be found here. And Klong Dao and Phrae Ae (Long beach) are the most popular bars on the island, but do not expect that they fun every night.
Most bars have special days of weeks as ‘Night party', so you can find a vast difference in them from day to day. This means that there are many pubs, offering a quiet place to take the chill out, but if you are looking for a more hot night talk with the locals, of course, they will know where nowadays is a beach party or follow the posters, which are usually posted around the island for a few days before the event! |

 Funky Monkey club
|
 Built in 2010 is the newest and the biggest nightclub on the island, with a very large bar, lots of space and two pool tables, which are sometimes free but very popular. The night spot have a line of widescreen TV's broadcasting a wide variety of sports games (mainly Boxing).
Music can change somewhere between the last western to sometimes quite random union of the old western or Thai music!

Klapa Klum beach bar |
 Funny Thai beach bar built of bamboo and driftwood with lanterns made from spent lighters, stranded travelers. Klapa Klum has a great lounge chairs to sipping beer to sit and watch as the sun sinks in Andaman sea. The bar is known for its fun parties, so watch out for advertising on lampposts as incendiary movement is usually dangle until the morning.

Freedom bar |
 This beach bar which in the dark is easily recognized by three huge flags familiar to all colors, despite the name less focused on reggae music and entertains the audience coarser, modern music. Even if you don't cheer for Bob Marley, Freedom I am sure, must impress you with its relaxed atmosphere.
Beer is cheap and in the evenings you can game a pull or to watch the game from a hammock with a cold beer in your hand.

Feeling bar at Where Else Resort |
 In fact this is the whole complex features a collection of futuristic designs created from bamboo, palm leaves and fishing boats. In day time Where Else is rather nondescript, but at night the whole area of the bar turns into a skillfully illuminated the world of fantasy, fun with figures and pictures, staring at you from different angles.
The air is filled with the fluids of the chillout, which some nights diluted dancing on the sand, but mostly bar is focused on relax and drink. Here you can also order some food.

Ozone bar |
 This is one of the oldest beach clubs on the island, known for its beach party taking place on thursdays. In fact, they have two bars; one open all day and is closer to the beach, and the second is much more open in the evening.
They have excellent DJs and parties often result in extensive beach.

Irish Embassy |
 Irish culture springing up around the world and no matter where You go in the world on the path will always be an Irish bar and Koh Lanta is no exception. This bar is definitely worth a visit because despite its small size of their party just huge and often go with a free BBQ. Drinking business mainly fueled diving instructors and their guests using this place for a birthday party, complete dive course and etc.
Expect dancing to cheesy but fun music until the early hours with a light beer, spilled bottle of cider and perhaps even part of liqueurs and rum. The bar has a wide-screen sports TV and wifi.

Ting Tong bar |
Bar, full of character! Don't expect quick service in the chill-out place more like a visiting room, which also has a pool table, if you still feel the strength. Thai staff funny and often plays late at night run English and Thai music.
Ting Tong bar will not allow you to dance the night away, on the contrary there are all conditions that would have to sleep in a hammock!

Korner bar |
For some reason this name is very popular on Koh Lanta but this specific Korner bar pretty little beach house, built entirely of bamboo and driftwood and most nights - saturday is the only place where you need to be. Managed a friendly Thai rastamans you will find a very warm welcome any day of the week, and the view along the long beach is quite spectacular.
Despite its tiny size, expect a noisy and crowded party for good music and local DJs.

Cheeky Monkey |
If you prefer an early start to the night, Cheeky bar - just the place to start. Former snack bar this place back the main road on the west coast which brought this hangout crowds of customers and wildly popular! Work has increased and later Cheeky began to work in two shifts closing late at night.
In the menu of bottled beers, creative cocktails and be sure you will find fun company and good music.

The Pub |
 Do not pay attention to the name - it's a Thai bar and actually opened when all other competitors are closed. Usually charge for entrance and the bar is more like a nightclub. Expect high prices for drinks, ...and if you wish the employee responsible for the placement of clients to join you.
On the one hand is a good idea, but on the other for drinks will have to pay you, but the girls are very funny and will dance with you till the morning!

Shooters bar |
 Serious pull gamer? This is the place where to go. Shooters has only one American pool table, but free. Beware local lady-boy, they really know how to play, so expect to lose some money! This bar is generally quiet, while others are night spots not begin to spit out visitors wishing to continue the fun, which is poured into this bar until the early hours.
There are Happy hours here, daily from 17:00 - 20:00, and on Saturday nights, which usually causes the queue to drive balls.
