Where to Eat on Koh Lanta's East Coast
|
The East coast of Koh lanta has some amazing dining options with most restaurants offering views of the southern islands of Mu Ko Koh Lanta National Park.
You can expect really friendly and attentive service and fresh seafood delivered to restaurants directly from the local fishermen's cooperatives. Lunch - it most definitely should be here, but don't be shy - choose a beautiful place where the best views of the sea and islands! |

Khao Yai and View Point restaurants |
Set on the island's mountain top are two very popular restaurants - Khao Yai and View Point, with probably the best views on Koh Lanta's East coast and nearby islands with fresh breezes and cool blowing from the mountains in the most hot days. The first restaurant while perhaps not as famous as its neighbor has in our opinion the warm service and the best food. We would recommend you with many dishes, especially Thai, seafood, and divide them as you make the Thai people.
This restaurant is a little bit of the roads because you pay for the view but still the place is perfect, especially for lunch.
Opening hours: Daily 08:00 - 21:00
Location: Follow Koh Lanta's main road by Klong Nin next to the centre of the island towards the east coast

Beautifull restaurant |
Despite the grammar and may deliberate error in the spelling of the name is the first restaurant opened in the Old Town of Koh Lanta and its dining pier extending deep into the mangrove trees is simply stunning location with fantastic views on many of the islands South of Koh Lanta. Managed a friendly Muslim family - do not look here of pork dishes!
Their Thai food is excellent and delicious especially curry! The pier is quite long, but the owner doesn't mind if you take a table too far from the kitchen.
Opening hours: Daily 09:00 - 22:00
Location: first turn off the main road to the Old town of Koh Lanta second building on the left side

Small and great Thai restaurant that doesn't tell you their appearance but the service, food and prices are great. Their specialty - roast duck in red or green curry, but the menu also features a wide selection of Thai food and some Western.
Opening hours: Daily 09:00 - 21:00
Location: Almost the last building on the shore, in front of Old Town's main pier |

Fresh |
One of the biggest restaurants in Ko Lanta Old Town, with beautiful wooden pier that stretches towards the south of the island, this restaurant is open for breakfast, but perfect for lunch. Fresh lives to its name supplying the tables only food made from fresh ingredients, including seafood, herbs and vegetables.
In the menu of traditional Thai dishes, BBQ, and just having a good range of western favourites and burgers. A little pricey, but good quality.

Location: On the main road in the Old Town, on the coastal side before Mango House
