Hin Daeng and Hin Muang Diving

Hin Daeng and Hin Muang Diving

Definitely the best diving in Koh Lanta - Hin Daeng and Hin Muang (red rock and purple rock respectively) two small underwater towers which lie to the south-west of Koh Lanta.

Hin Daeng (Red rock) is a few hundred meters south of Hin Muang dive-site (to south from the Phi Phi Islands ) and can be easily reached by boat from Phuket. Only low the tip of this huge underwater tower sticking out of the water. Divers visiting in recent years this place were awarded magical acquaintance with whale sharks and other large flocks of fish and predators in this region.

Hin Muang (Purple rock) located a few hundred meters from Hin Daeng (Red tower) completely submerged under water . This unique dive site in all directions lush purple soft corals giving the impression of a glowing underwater world which is the habitat of an incredible number of sea creatures which you will not find anywhere else in the nearby waters

Koh Rok Diving

Koh Rok Diving Koh Rok is actually the twin islands Nok and Nai are separated from each other by a narrow strait. Entirely without human intervention, these two small islet great diving site on the small depth where the large number of underwater gardens of hard and soft corals. Black tipped reef sharks and sea turtles hawksbill-the usual attractions of these places .

Ko Rok is a breathtaking snorkeling sport with clear, deep waters boasting thirty meter visibility. The combination of soft, while powdery sand beaches and cool, crystal waters are simply stunning. Ko Rok Nok and Ko Rok Nai have both remained mostly undisturbed by the outside world, and there is plenty to see. Watch the fresh spring water waterfall drop sharply down a two hundred meter cliff directly into the blue sea below. Walk through a forest of one-thousand-year old banyan trees. Hide quietly, and watch the large monitor lizard pass by. Sit back and observe a troop of million-shell crabs crawling on the sand. This is unlike anywhere you have ever been before.

Koh Ha Dive Site

Koh Ha Dive Site Koh Ha is another group of small islands separated by a deep passage. Located close to Koh Lanta these popular islands are day tours of many companies offering to plunge into the exciting world both above and under water. Turrets protruding from the sea at a decent height similar to Phi Phi island but in contrast the water here is crystal clear with visibility often exceeding 25 meters.

Koh Ha Yai largest of these islands has the largest number of caves and underwater caves. In the cave with the same input\output can be very easy and safe to enter.
 

Koh Lanta Diving

Koh Lanta Snorkelling Snorkeling at Koh Lanta is limited so if you really want to see the underwater life of the Andaman sea buy a snorkeling tour to one of the southern islands. Tours are offered by speedboats, larger boats and long-tailed boats. Speedboat offer the fastest service and is the perfect option to explore more islands for a short time including the most remote. Traditional Thai long-tailed fishing boats provide a more intimate experience though a bit noisy, and large tour boats offer the lowest rates and the most comfortable atmosphere for sea cruise but can often be crowded. Tour to the four Islands is a very popular tour which will introduce you to the beautiful islands, great Morakot cave and the inhabitants of the tropical underwater world + lunch on Koh Ngai island. The cave is definitely worth a visit but you can only get there by boat and to get inside - only swim through 40-foot grotto at the end of which you will find the gorgeous beach, completely hidden from the outside world, which in the old days a haven for smugglers (some say that this place was the real inspiration for the book ‘the Beach').
